baseclick's patented technology improves the applicability and feasibility of the solid phase phosphoramidite method, which allows DNA strands of up to 150 bases in length to be assembled. Our state-of-the-art bioconjugation technology enables linking two oligonucleotides consisting an Azide and Alkyne moieties by splint mediated ligation to produce a triazole linkage at the ligation site.
The Azide and Alkyne oligonucleotide strands can be produced by standard protocols and, as it is chemical rather than enzymatic, the chemical ligation reaction is compatible with a wide range of other oligonucleotide modifications.
