Specification / MSDS

Menaquinone is a vitamin that is required for the synthesis of coagulation factors and other proteins. It is also involved in energy metabolism, gene transcription, and cell proliferation. Menaquinone has been shown to inhibit the growth of squamous cells and tumors by binding to Bcl-2 protein and preventing it from activating programmed cell death (apoptosis). Menaquinone is absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract following oral administration. This vitamin can be synthesized by bacteria in the colon or obtained from dietary sources such as cheese, eggs, meat, and other animal products. Vitamin K2 is found in some plants such as soybeans, but not in many vegetables. There are several chemical forms of vitamin K2: menaquinone-4 (MK-4), menaquinone-7 (MK-7), menaquinol (MK), 2-methylmenadione (MM), 3-methylmenadione (MM3), 4-methylmenadione (MM4). Men
