Feature:

• "CryoBov™ for Sperm" is a mixed solution of glycerin and CPLL.
• This product can be used as a freezing solution for bovine sperm by simply adding it to citrate egg yolk solution according to the protocol.
• Cytotoxicity is reduced by halving the amount of glycerin from the conventional method.
• Highly maintain the normality of a sperm head membrane and the proportion of the motile sperm.
• Free of bacteria and fungi contamination.
• The product is stable for 1 year at 2-10oC at stability after the date of manufacture.

About carboxylated poly-L-lysine (CPLL)

1. Carboxylated poly-L-lysine (CPLL) is the new amphoteric electrolyte high molecular compound which introduced the carboxyl group (-COOH) by making a part of amino group of ε-poly-L-lysine (PLL) currently used as a food additive react.

2. Molecular weight of CPLL is about 4,000-5,000. Since it is a high molecular compound, It does not penetrate a cell membrane, but it is thought that I have reduced the cell damage from the physical cell obstacle by freeze (icy crystal) cell outside by sticking to a cell membrane at the time of a freeze.

3. CPLL has a function similar to anti-freeze protein (special protein which the fishes which inhabit a polar zone, and a plant hold in the living body), and It can control the re-crystallization at the time of growth (freeze concentration) of an ice crystal, or dissolution out of a cell.

4. Cryopreservation solution using CPLL shows that It is effective in cryopreservation of various cells by traditional research.

Conception rate evaluation results

​

Compared the artificial insemination conception rate of freeze sperm Conservation Act (glycerin 50% reduction) and Conventional method which uses New cryoprotectant CPLL. By Conventional method, the conception rate of 63.99% and improvement in not less than 10% were found by New method at 52.99% as a result of 295 animals (Conventional method 134 bovines, New method 161 bovines).
