It is about Neuropeptides, the largest and most diverse class of neurotransmitters in the brain..Inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) belongs together with endothelial NOS (eNOS) and neuronal NOS (nNOS) to the NOS family of enzymes catalyzing the production of nitric oxide (NO) from L-arginine. Nitric oxide is an important signaling molecule in inflammatory processes. In contrast to the constitutively expressed nNOS and eNOS isoforms, the inducible NOS is usually activated as a defense response in infection and inflammation processes. The expression of iNOS is often used as marker for so-called M1 macrophages in a pro-inflammatory state.

Guinea pig polyclonal antibodies against FoxP2

Often proteins important for the correct development of the central nervous system play also a role in synaptic plasticity. The transcription factor FoxP2, also referred to as SPCH1, is such an exemple. This transcription factor is mandatory for correct brain development, e.g. in the inferior frontal cortex or the basal ganglia, but is also important for synapse formation and synaptic plasticity.

Check our new rabbit polyclonal antibody against Myosin-11

Myosin-11 also called smooth muscle myosin heavy chain or SMMHC is a myosin expressed in smooth muscle that functions as a primary contractile protein. Myosin-11 is a common myoepithelial marker in immunohistochemistry. It tends to provide more sensitive results with less myofibroblast cross-reactivity when compared to biomarkers like calponin and smooth muscle actin.
