Microplates without Bottom

Observation for bacteria, microorganisms & cells, etc.

Microplates have no bottom surface for well. For research application, PDMS sheet (Polydimethylsiloxan)＊1, COP film (Cyclic Olefin Polymer) and other materials can be bonded together for your experiment.

※ Please see PDMS film available for cell culture and microfluidic devices.
※ Please also check ultra-thin & high precision PDMS film*2 focused on analysis and culture of live bacteria, cells and DNA.

＊1 When attaching a PDMS sheet, please use a product "with silicone adhesive tape".
＊2 CSCRIE’s PDMS sheet (ultra-thin type, 150 μm and 200 μm) has been verified to be attached to this product.

 

Strong Points

  • Microtiter plate having no bottom surface for well
  • Depending on research applications, any material can be bonded to the bottom side.
  • There are two types of adhesive tapes: acrylic or silicone.
  • Materials: Polystyrene

※ Plate lid dose not included with each plate.
※ There is a possibility of liquid leakage depending on the sample type to be added or centrifuge operation.

 

 

Example of Use 
6 well, 24 well & 96 well no-bottom plates bonding with PDMS sheet (thickness: 200 μm)

1 well, 6 well, 24 well, 96 well and 384 well plate can be selected with or without adhesive tape and type of adhesive.
