Don't forget about Arc

 

Activity-regulated cytoskeleton-associated protein (Arc) is a critical regulator of long-term synaptic plasticity at excitatory synapses, including long-term potentiation and long-term depression. It belongs like the transcription factor c-Fos to the family of the immediate-early genes (IEGs) that rapidly induced after patterned synaptic activity. Recent results have shown that it has also the ability to mediate intercellular transfer between neurons via extracellular vesicles (EVs).
We would like to introduce a new rat anti-Arc monoclonal antibody that can be used in collaboration with our recombinant c-Fos antibodies to study synaptic plasticity and neuronal activation.

T-bet (also known as Tbx21) belongs to the T-box subfamily Tbr1, and is an important transcription factor for the immune system, especially in immune response and cell fate determination. T-bet is a potent transactivator of the IFNγ gene and its expression correlates with IFNγ expression in Th1 cells, NK cells, and B cells. It has been discovered that T-bet plays also a role in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), T-bet-deficient mice are resistant to EAE.
We want to bring your focus to our new mouse-specific (no signal in human samples) rat monoclonal anti-T-bet antibody which is ideally suited for FFPE applications (IHC-P). This product was developed from HistoSure, the branch from Synaptic Systems (SYSY) that is dedicated to immunology and cancer research.
