PEG Lipids for LNPs

Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs) are delivery systems commonly employed in the field of nucleic acid drugs.  LNPs mainly contain four components: a neutral phospholipid, cholesterol, a PEG-lipid, and an ionizable cationic lipid, among them, PEG lipids can have multiple effects on the properties of LNPs.

• Increase particle stability;
• Prolong the blood circulation time;
• Conjugate specific ligands to the particle for targeted delivery.
