Tritosulfuron Standard

Tritosulfuron (Part #:N-14427-100MG | CAS: 142469-14-5) is a xenobiotic, environmental contaminant, and herbicide used to control a wide range of broad-leaved weeds. It is moderately soluble in water and has a low volatility. Tritosulfuron is a sulfonamide that is benzenesulfonamide substituted by a trifluoromethyl group at position 2 and a [4-methoxy-6-(trifluoromethyl)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl]carbamoyl group at the nitrogen atom.
It has a role as a xenobiotic, an environmental contaminant and a herbicide.

 

Application:
Used for Pre and Post-Emergence control of diverse weeds in a wide variety of crops.

Tritosulfuron may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in: Rapeseed oil samples using quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe (QuEChERS) extraction method followed by high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection (HPLC-DAD). Aqueous samples using heterogeneous monopersulfate decomposition on lanthanum-cobalt perovskites followed by
high-performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection (HPLC-UV).
