phyproof® New Admissions March 2025

We are always working on new admissions to expand our outstanding portfolio of highly purified phyproof® reference standards by constantly monitoring new regulatory requirements, scientific progress and the market development in botanicals, herbal medicinal products, cosmetics and pet food. Thus, we are pleased to present our newly added substances since March:

L-(+)-Ergothioneine is a unique amino acid occurring in certain fungi (e.g. Shiitake) and cereals (e.g. oats) that is becoming increasingly popular on the food supplement market. The carotenoid Zeaxanthin, similar to Lutein, is contained in the retina of the eye and highly valued in food supplements for eye health.

Besides 1-Methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-β-carboline-3-carboxylic acid (MTCA) and Macamide B,lepidilins (Lepidiline A, Lepidiline B), play an important role as markers for maca (Lepidium meyenii).

We have extended our portfolio now with Lepidiline C. With 4-Methoxyglucobrassicin potassium salt and Neoglucobrassicin potassium salt our gluco-sinolate portfolio now includes 28 congeners – unique in the market! For quantitative analysis of the food supplement blockbuster Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), we now also added the alkaloid Withasomnin.

We are also pleased to inform you that we have Grayanotoxin I available again!
