Introduction

Octahydrocyclopenta[c]pyrrole is a bicyclic pyrrolidine formed by the fusion of pyrrolidine and cyclopentane, which has unique physical and chemical properties. Due to its high fraction of Fsp3-carbon atoms and conformational restriction, the introduction of octahydrocyclopenta[c]pyrrole can enhance its affinity and selectivity for biological targets, thereby optimizing the efficacy and safety of drugs. So far, Chemscene has developed many octahydrocyclopenta[c]pyrrole building blocks.
