The monoclonal antibody (Mab) against Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis virus (IPNV) is specific for this virus. The specificity of the Mab has been tested by against a range of viral pathogens that infect fish.

A range of monoclonal antibodies (AquaMab-P) to detect specific fish pathogens are available. These are supplied with a standard protocol to apply these in immunohistochemistry (IHC). These products can also be used in the indirect immunofluorescence antibody test (IFAT).
