This monoclonal antibody (MAb) reacts with Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar) immunoglobulin M (IgM). The MAb is of an IgG1 isotype and recognises the heavy chain of the molecule.

A wide range of monoclonal antibodies (AquaMab-F) are available for the detection of IgM in a variety of fish species used in aquaculture. These are supplied with a standard protocol for their application in enzyme linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA).
